Around $9 million in state grants are being released for improvements to 50 multi-use trails across the state, officials announced. Reply WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven has been awarded more than $58,000 in state funds to improve two trails in the city. The funds are part of the approximately $9 million in state grants that are being released through the Connecticut Recreational Trails Program to plan, build, expand, and improve 50 multi-use trails across the state, Gov. Ned Lamont and Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Katie Dykes announced this week.
