WEST HAVEN — The Wallingford Silver Storm have been pushed to the brink of elimination in the Connecticut Collegiate Baseball League playoffs after dropping a 11-1 contest to the West Haven Sailors on Monday night at West Haven High School. The game was decided in six innings due to the mercy rule. West Haven (14-8-1) had a five-run second and a three-run fifth to run away with the win. Wallingford will look to stay alive with a game against the Southington Black Knights on Tuesday night at Fontana Field.
