A New Haven man who federal authorities say crashed a car into a vehicle being operated by two DEA special agents has been charged by a Hartford grand jury with a fentanyl and crack cocaine distribution offense. Derrick Brock, also known as 'Dereck Brock,' 36, is charged on an indictment with one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine base, which carries a maximum term of 20 years in prison on conviction, according to federal authorities. Brock has been in custody since January 10.
