(Shutterstock)WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven resident recently won more than $40,000 on a winning Lottery ticket that was sold in West Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $40,002 on a KENO ticket that was sold at Best Gas Food Mart at 161 Boston Post Rd. in West Haven, according to Lottery officials. The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.
